The main difference between the Navy and the Marine Corps is their primary mission and focus. The Navy is a maritime military branch responsible for conducting naval operations at sea, including protecting the nation's interests through control of the sea and projecting power ashore. The Marine Corps, on the other hand, is a separate branch of the military that is part of the Department of the Navy, and its primary mission is to provide power projection from the sea, using ground forces to seize and defend advanced naval bases. Marines are often the first to respond in crisis situations and are known for their expeditionary and amphibious capabilities. Additionally, the Navy is responsible for maintaining and operating naval ships and submarines, while the Marine Corps focuses on ground combat operations. **

While some nuthatch species may exhibit short-distance movements in search of food or to escape harsh weather conditions, they generally do not undertake long migrations like some other bird species. Nuthatches are known to be non-migratory or only partially migratory, depending on the specific species and region. **
